Catching Bass at Harris Reservoir

On 4 March 2023, my friend Aaron and I went Bass fishing at Shearon Harris Reservoir, North Carolina. In all, we caught seven basses. Generally, around late winter to early spring, you'll see bass in “pre-spawn” mode when the water temperatures start to rise from the mid-'40s into the 50s. Allegedly, the top colors that make the best of the best pre-spawn bass lures are chrome with a blue or black back or red crawfish. During this expedition, I tested something different.
