Tom Smith - No Sound but the Wind - Werchter 2nd July 2026

And now, back to our regularly scheduled service ;) There's just something about that song... 16 years removed from "that" performance at Werchter 2010, you know the one, here's another rendition of No Sound but the Wind. This time it's Tom on vocals and Nic on keys, and you may wonder if in the intervening years it would have lost any of its power. Watch the clip and make up your own mind. This was the last song played in the set and as summaries go, it's extremely accurate. I realise how hyperbolic this sounds, but it really feels like all of Tom's previous solo gigs were steps that collectively culminated on this one, special night. That without the lead up, this may not have been what it was, and the chemistry that has been developed on the road made it that way. That, and the amazing crowd in attendance tonight.
