After covering the first 109 KM from Leh to Kiari in Part 01, Day 04 of my Ladakh motorcycle journey now continues from Kiari towards Hanle. The commonly documented route towards Hanle via Chumathang runs through: KIARI ↓ CHUMATHANG ↓ MAHE ↓ NYOMA ↓ LOMA ↓ RHONGO ↓ HANLE Different route sources report different road distances for these sections because measurements and exact routing vary. The broader Leh–Hanle route via Chumathang is commonly reported in the roughly 250–275 KM range.
