UCSF Pediatric Critical Care Medicine fellows train at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals in San Francisco and Oakland, gaining experience across a broad spectrum of pediatric critical care—including pediatric trauma, solid organ transplantation, and congenital heart surgery. Supported by more than 35 pediatric intensive care faculty members, fellows strengthen their clinical, technical, communication, and leadership skills while gradually taking on greater responsibility in patient care, teaching, and supervision.
