#SheCan Series #9 |HUYE District

As the SheCan Project reaches the end of its first 18 months, implemented by World Relief in partnership with the World Food Programme (WFP) across 25 districts in Rwanda, we continue to highlight inspiring stories of youth, particularly young women, who are transforming their lives and communities. In today’s episode, young women from Huye District share how they have come together through Savings Groups, built a strong culture of saving, accessed small loans, and invested in activities that are improving their livelihoods, strengthening their resilience, and creating new opportunities for growth. Their experiences demonstrate the power of collective action, saving, and mutual support. By coming together, young women are creating opportunities for themselves, their families, and their communities while building a more secure and resilient future.
