Julie Hesmondhalgh on Her Most Emotional Role Yet in Punch | This Morning

Corrie legend Julie Hesmondhalgh joins us to talk about her powerful role in Punch - the critically acclaimed play making its way to the West End. Based on the real-life story of teenager Jacob Dunne, whose single, tragic punch killed 28-year-old James Hodgkinson, Punch explores grief, accountability - and the extraordinary act of forgiveness from James’ parents that changed everything. It’s a gripping, emotional story - and Julie plays the mother at the heart of it.
