Eastern Sierra - Heat Waves & Hot Springs

An attempt on 14,000er Mt. Langley is thwarted by scorching weather, but an excellent consolation prize is discovered (and a bear encounter adds some extra excitement!). Afterwards, we head out to an old gold miner's cabin for a superb night and then soak up some geothermal hot springs outside of Mammoth. Summertime in the mountains, there's nothing so sublime.
