COOKING THAI FOOD IN INDIA | A day of Surf Team Thailand In Mahabalipuram.

You can tell a team is truly dedicated when they bring a suitcase full of food supplies from home and source fresh ingredients every day from the local market to cook their own dinner. The Thailand surf team traveled to Mahabalipuram for the Asian Surfing Championship, accompanied not only by their coaches but by supportive parents as well. Just as any parent would, they looked after the entire team at the beach while the kids surfed and trained. In the evenings, the guys and moms prepared home-cooked meals for everyone using nothing more than a single electric induction stove. I’ve never been to Thailand, but I feel fortunate to have tasted the best Thai food possible right here in our backyard. A little backstory: We happened to be staying at the same hotel as the team. One night, I passed by the kitchen and the smell was so irresistible that I immediately got an idea to film the team’s daily routine. Luckily, the competition was called off one day, so I asked them if I could join them to document their whole process from shopping to cooking. They happily invited us along, and the entire team was such a joy to hang out with.
