The next stage in Sonic Riders is set in the ruins that Jet, Storm, and Wave were trying to resurrect, and once on there, there's only one thing to do: Race on it! Bearing little to no resemblance to the real-life Hanging Gardens of Babylon, this floating chunk of ancient passages is not an easy course to navigate. Places to fall off are everywhere, and the course is under attack from Eggman's forces (because Eggman is evil that way) so the course crumbles and changes from lap to lap.
The character I'm using this time is E-10000G, an Eggman robot designed for Extreme Gear Racing. E-10000G is a Power character, meaning he can knock things aside without slowing down while gaining Air (fuel) each time he does so. They can only use boards and are designed to look and talk like wannabe punks. In the story mode, you find E-10000G's in mass quantities and, along with the E-10000R's, are usually whom you race against. The announcer doesn't comment about these robots, which is why these races are a lot quieter. E-10000G and E-10000R are voiced by the late Maddie Blaustein--if you listen carefully, you can hear a bit of Meowth in their voices.
At one point, I paused by accident. My Mario Kart WIi reflexes got the better of me, and I pressed the Start button by mistake. It's where the A button would be in the Wii Wheel scheme, which lets you look behind you.
