Verse 1: I step out onto new ground My first step, strength I've found I open my eyes, free from the dark Take me higher, beyond the night I feel Your light, I see the way You give me strength for every day I spread my wings, ready to fly With You beside me, I reach the sky (I'M ALIVE!) Pre-Chorus: Shining brighter than ever I surrender forever I rise to the sky My heart open wide! Chorus: Through life and death, You took my hand, With You beside me, I will stand. Beyond the horizon, I won't stop, With joy in You – TAKE ME HIGHER! Through life and death, You took my hand, With You beside me, I will stand. Beyond the horizon, I won't stop, With joy in You – TAKE ME HIGHER! (Lead) TAKE ME HIGHER! (Echo) Take me... higher... Verse 2: Sun rises in the sky, I close my eyes, in Your light.
