Season 2 of the Sim Racing Srbija - Mebit GTSim Championship opened at Spa-Francorchamps with a packed multiclass grid and plenty of action from start to finish.
26 drivers. 13 teams. 2 classes. One goal - to be the best.
With GT3 and GT4 cars sharing the track, traffic management, race craft and timing became just as important as outright pace.
And Round 1 delivered battles across both classes.
🔥 GT3 - Fight at the Front
The GT3 class produced some of the closest racing of the event.
Tomic, Kepic and Kizic were involved in a strong fight near the front, with very little separating them through key parts of the race.
Every mistake mattered.
Every piece of traffic mattered.
And every opportunity to gain position had to be used carefully.
In the end, Tomic took the GT3 victory and opened the season with the strongest possible result.
⚔️ GT4 - Close Battle for the Podium
The GT4 class was just as intense.
Behind the runaway leader, the battle between Kostic, Gajic and Novakovic provided some of the best racing of the event.
The fight continued through different phases of the race, with strategy, traffic and consistency all playing a major role.
Positions were never completely safe, and the battle remained alive deep into the race.
🏆 Milosavljevic Dominates GT4
While the fight behind him was extremely close, Nikola Milosavljevic delivered a near-perfect race at the front of the GT4 field.
He controlled the class and built a huge gap, taking a dominant victory and setting a very strong benchmark for the rest of the season.
A perfect start to his championship campaign.
🚦 Multiclass Racing at Spa
With 26 cars across two classes, Spa became a constant exercise in traffic management.
Faster GT3 cars had to work their way through the GT4 field, while GT4 drivers needed to manage those encounters without compromising their own battles.
That created plenty of situations where awareness and patience were just as important as speed.
Exactly the kind of racing this new multiclass format is designed to produce.
