Overcoming Horse Rearing

Peggy and Frisco 09/07/26 Frisco has come a long way and even looks a lot better physically, but rearing on a trail ride again was a huge disappointment for Peggy. As well as Frisco is doing she did not expect that old, unsafe behavior to show up again. These kinds of surprises can really make us feel like a failure, so in this lesson we look at how to deal with Frisco rearing in the moment that it happens, when we don't sense it coming. And we discuss how to work through the problem more permanently. Knowing what we have at home is already telling us what we are likely to encounter in more challenging environments.
