RAF Typhoon Display 2024. The International Ayr Show – Festival of Flight 2024.

The west coast town of Ayr hosts Scotland’s last remaining major airshow, the International Ayr Show – Festival of Flight. As a partnership between South Ayrshire Council and the SKYLab, a STEM organisation, the inaugural event was held year at Ayr’s Low Green and adjoining promenade. That event was hugely successful attracting nearly a quarter of million spectators. The Eurofighter Typhoon is a European multinational twin-engine, supersonic, canard delta wing, multirole fighter. The Typhoon was designed originally as an air-superiority fighter and is manufactured by a consortium of Airbus, BAE Systems and Leonardo that conducts the majority of the project through a joint holding company, Eurofighter Jagdflugzeug GmbH.
