Headland Country Club – Full Course Flyover | GSPro

*Headland Country Club – Full Course Flyover | GSPro* A hole-by-hole flyover of all 18 holes at Headland Country Club in Headland, Alabama, rebuilt for the GSPro golf simulator. *About the course* Headland Country Club opened in 1961 and is a semi-private par-71 parkland course on AL-134. It plays as 18 holes off nine greens, with separate tees for each nine. Highlights include a large pine in the second fairway, a tee shot over water on the fourth, and out-of-bounds on many holes. From the men's tees it plays about 5,900 yards (rating 69.1 / slope 126). *About this build* This is a full 18-hole recreation made from real-world data: *Terrain* from USGS lidar, so every rise, dip and green slope matches the real ground. *Hole shapes* traced by hand from aerial imagery and the club's hole diagrams: fairways, greens, bunkers, tees and cart paths. *Trees placed from the lidar* and grown to today. **The clubhouse, swimming pool, cart barn and maintenance shed**, with the club logo on the flags. **Highway 134 and the county road through the course**, with the power lines along it. Full out-of-bounds lines and two tee sets. Built in Inkscape, Blender, Unity and GreenKeeper with the OPCD toolset. *Chapters:* open with the course splash, then every hole in order, ending with the scorecard.
