With triple-digit heat bearing down on the Texas prairie, that A/C repair yesterday at 3:30 PM was nothing short of a miracle—cue the trumpets and prepare the feast! But as James Bond reminded us in Never Say Never Again, we never know when the dragon may return. The scent profile is a fascinating journey—blood orange and bergamot dancing with coriander, verbena, and that intriguing coumarin. That coumarin note, reminiscent of vanilla, almonds, and fresh-cut hay, adds a mellow spice that makes this something truly special. The lather performed exactly as I've come to expect from Subtle Art—rich, slick, and satisfying. I loaded up my RG Shave Designs Dragon Claw with its custom red crystal handle and made two passes to reach BBS perfection, with just a small touch-up needed. The splash aftershave delivered more of those citrus-forward notes with a wonderfully soothing feel, while the EdP lasted for hours with just a small spritz.
