Psalm 77 - I Will Remember

An epic cinematic adaptation of Psalm 77, as featured in The Chosen—a powerful biblical lament that transforms from the depths of personal anguish into a triumphant declaration of God's redemptive power. This arrangement begins in dark, solitary lamentation with low sub-bass drones, weeping Kinnor lyre, and steady frame drum beats. As the text pivots from asking if God's mercy is gone to recalling His ancient wonders, the production opens up into a massive wall of sound featuring bright brass, thunderous tribal percussion, and soaring choral vocals celebrating the Exodus. Lyrics: I cry out loud into the night; I call until my voice is heard. In times of grief I seek the Lord; My hands reach out without a rest. My spirit will not find its peace. I think of God and start to groan; My mind grows weak, my strength wears thin. You hold my weary eyes awake; I am too shaken now to speak. I think back to the days of old. Will the Lord leave us in the dark? Will favor never shine again? Has steady love forever gone? Has every promise reached its end? Has mercy been forgotten now? Is kindness locked away in wrath? And so I say, "This is my grief: The Right Hand of the High has changed." Yet I recall the works of old, The ancient wonders of your power! Your way, O God, is holy ground; No god is great like you, our God! You work your wonders in the earth; You showed your strength to every land; With mighty arm you saved your own, The sons of Jacob and Joseph. The waters saw you and they shook; The deep places writhed in pain. The heavy clouds poured down their rain; The skies thundered across the dark; Your flashes of light pierced the night. Your thunder rolled within the storm; Your lightning lit the world below; The whole earth quaked and trembled deep. Your path went through the open sea, Your steps across the mighty deep, Your footprints nowhere to be seen. You led your people like a flock By the hand of Moses and Aaron. #Psalm77 #TheChosen #TheChosenTV #BiblicalMusic #CinematicWorship #LeviteChant #AncientWorship #FaithInTheDarkness #ScriptureSong #EpicChoral #KinnorLyre #RedSea #Exodus
