Victor Schneider [link Victor's film here when available] ── ABOUT THE FILM ──────────────────────────── The Watcher was shot entirely in a real student accommodation flat across six days in July 2026. It was made by a single filmmaker — written, directed, shot, graded, and edited by one person. The film uses four distinct visual registers (The Loop, Day Zero, The Interview, and The Institutional Voice), each with a separate cinematographic language, to construct an argument about the unreliability of any single camera perspective. Colour temperature — measured in Kelvin — functions as the film's emotional architecture. The audience is conditioned to read warmth as safety across the first act, then confronted with that same warmth as horror when the loop resets. The GoPro cameras in the film are not just props. They are a competing visual intelligence. The door at the end closes on the camera lens.
