Corfu (Kerkyra), the greenest of the Greek islands offers beautiful sandy beaches, limestone cliffs, a turquoise sea, charming bays, and wonderful greek cuisine. We spent 10 days on Corfu in August 2026: We visited : Kerkyra Town, which surprises with its Venetian architecture and Italian atmosphere; the village of Kanoni, a great place for plane-spotting, the abandoned mountain village of Old Peritheia, mountain monasteries, Sidari with its the Canal d'Amour, the cliffs of Cape Drastis and Loggas Beach, the beaches of Agios Georgios, Agios Stefanos, Almyros, Kalamaki, Agios Spyridon, Rovinia, and Avlaki, the incredible Porto Timoni and Paleokastritsa, Krini , the Byzantine castle of Angelokastro, and the town of Kassiopi.
