August 6, 1944: US units move through in Châteauneuf-d'Ille-et-Vilane, Bretagne / Brittany, France on the way to Saint-Malo. The 329th Infantry Regiment, 83rd Infantry Division entered Châteauneuf-d'Ille-et-Vilane on August 5, 1944.
