There are several "interesting" live albums of Alex Chilton on the market--one-off gigs in Europe with pick up bands ('Live in London', 'Live in Anvers'), late-70s New York "No Wave" gigs ('Ocean Club '77'), an acoustic gig played when the power went out at New York's Knitting Factory club during a late-90s gig ('Electricity by Candlelight'), Big Star sets documenting versions of that band in the 1970s and 1990s...but there's never been a live album released of Alex Chilton playing with his regular trio during the period when he toured extensively as a solo artist (late 1984 to around 2000). These recordings vary in quality, and are from a variety of sources.
