BIGFOOT #14 Crushes Cars in the Street!! | Scottdale PA 2026

This might be the strangest place I’ve ever seen a monster truck perform: the intersection of Centennial Way and Pioneer Way in downtown Scottdale PA. BIGFOOT performs car crushes all across the country, but you’ll usually see it in a parking lot or a vacant field, not a downtown street! The cars certainly put up a fight, but longtime BIGFOOT driver Bob Brown did a good job putting on a show in such a tight space. I had to cut some parts out, but this performance was 7 MINUTES LONG…certainly the longest performance I’ve ever seen from a monster truck. For those curious, this is BIGFOOT #14, the same truck that Dan Runte famously jumped over the jet plane in. Currently, it’s the oldest tube-frame BIGFOOT truck that still performs. It’s mostly relegated to displays and car crushes but occasionally runs a Hot Wheels show when needed. It’s pretty special watching a 32-year old monster truck perform – especially when the truck has so many world records, championships, and innovations tied to it. I’ve always wondered how they set up car crushes like these without any heavy equipment, so I included some shots of the setup and tear down for anyone else interested. Ripping the seatbelts out to tie the cars together was a neat (and smart) idea. All told, setup and teardown only took about 10-15 minutes each.
