“The Duck Knight Returns!” - Ducktales (2017) [Unofficial Soundtrack]

This is one of the big ones! Clocking in at almost 18 minutes, “The Duck Knight Returns!” still holds its place as a fantastic episode, but missed potential and opportunities following it. A real SHAME the Negaduck reveal never got followed up on. This and the S3 LGD special really made it feel like a reboot for Darkwing was possibly in the work. I love how the Darkwing motif is spread throughout the episode. From its fun little callbacks to the og show to that haunting melody before Negaduck is revealed! I will never get enough of that! And I love the ost during Drake’s little backstory. It’s moments like that that make me wish we had a full official ost release from Disney or the composers themselves!
