And every generation repeated the same promise to the next: “Your children will live differently.” Years became decades. Decades became centuries. The old pictures faded, but we kept them carefully hidden beneath the city. Then one day, while searching the ruins of an abandoned archive, we found something nobody was supposed to see. A map. The green valleys were real. The cities were real. The rivers, the towers, the endless fields... All of it existed. But the map was older than our civilization. That world wasn't waiting somewhere in the future. It had already existed.
