Japan’s Most Beautiful Valley? 🇯🇵 In this Kamikochi travel vlog, we explore one of the most scenic places in the Japan Alps, starting from Taisho Pond and walking all the way to Kappa Bridge and Myojin Pond. This is our full day Kamikochi day trip from Matsumoto, our home base in Nagano. We booked our bus in advance through Japan Bus Online, got off at Taisho Pond, and started our walk through crystal clear rivers, peaceful forest trails, wooden walkways, bird sanctuary areas, and some of the most beautiful mountain views we have ever seen in Japan. In this episode, we also share practical tips on how to go to Kamikochi from Matsumoto, why we brought a bear bell, what to expect along the walking trail, where to rest near Kappa Bridge, and what food we tried including pork bun, rice stick, snacks, and the famous Kamikochi apple pie.
