In 1 Corinthians 16:1–4, Paul turns his attention to the collection for the saints in Jerusalem, reminding the Corinthians that the gospel shapes not only what we believe but also how we give. Generosity is not simply a financial obligation; it is a response to the grace of God. Those who have received so much through Jesus Christ should be willing to give joyfully and faithfully for the good of others.
