The Country Before Morning

THE COUNTRY BEFORE MORNING imagines the peaceful place from which consciousness emerged before birth. It is a country without distance, memory, fear, or time—a silence that once held us without asking us to understand it. Life may be our brief awakening beneath an unfamiliar sky. Somewhere beyond memory, the before-time still feels like home. Weightless ambient chamber-pop, felt piano, delicate harp, breathlike vocal layers, and softly suspended strings evoke the safety of a place remembered without memory.
