Destigmatizing Alopecia in Kids

Jennifer Gilbert joins The Doctors to discuss her child’s alopecia. She first saw bald spots on her son Gray at 1 years old. The doctor diagnosed him with alopecia, and they did a treatment, which seemed to work, but when he turned 2, Jennifer was devastated to find another bald spot. Soon after all of his hair including eyelashes and eyebrows fell out.
