From Survival to Hope; the Story of WorkFlipp

For many students, the struggle on campus goes beyond academics. It can mean going hungry, struggling with transportation, and worrying about how to meet basic needs while pursuing their dreams. Having experienced financial hardship as a student myself, I understood the reality. And while working with students, I began encountering young people facing similar challenges I could keep giving when I was able to, but I started asking the difficult question... "What if, instead of giving them money, I helped them earn?" That question gave birth to WorkFlipp. I started WrokFlipp as an impact-driven initiative connecting students to dignified work opportunities. What started with one student has grown into a movement impacting hundreds of students and young graduates, connecting them to flexible work opportunities while helping them earn, gain experience and build confidence in transition to the world of work. I feel personal about this impact-driven initiative because this is not just a TTU problem. Youth work and employability is a national issue and it is satisfying that this simple initiative is contributing to the solution. This is more than a story about work.
