The aires were closed! We discover beautiful beaches, and ancient historical monuments in Brittany.

Join us on an unforgettable motorhome adventure in Brittany, France as we tour the beautiful Gulf of Morbihan by motorhome. Our journey begins near Arzon, where our first aire stop doesn’t quite go to plan after being asked to leave due to cleaning closures. After another aire turns out to be shut for winter, we finally find a great overnight stop near Sarzeau. From there, we enjoy a stunning coastal walk in the sunshine, followed by a fantastic bike ride to the mouth of the Gulf of Morbihan, stopping for a delicious fresh seafood lunch along the way. The return ride gets a little messy with muddy tracks and changing weather! Next, we move the motorhome across to Locmariaquer, where sunshine returns and we explore some of Brittany’s most famous standing stones, dolmens and megalithic sites. We even step inside ancient dolmens and visit the incredible Site des Mégalithes, home to a huge broken standing stone.
