THE CHOSEN Reaction | S2E01 | Thunder

Watch Erika and Malkia react to The Chosen S2E01 "Thunder," the Season 2 premiere. In 62 AD, an elderly John interviews surviving disciples—including Nathanael and Mary, mother of Jesus—to record the Gospel of John after Big James becomes the first apostle martyred. Back in Samaria, Jesus ministers in Sychar alongside Photina's growing community. Big James and John plow a field for lame Samaritan Melech, then demand Jesus call down fire on hostile Samaritans. Jesus physically restrains them, rebukes their prejudice, and gives them the name Sons of Thunder. The episode ends with John writing his Gospel's opening: "In the beginning was the Word." #TheChosen #TheChosenSeason2 #CHOSEN2x01 #Thunder #SonsOfThunder #BigJames #John #Nathanael #MaryMotherOfJesus #Photina #Melech #Sychar #Samaria #JohnGospel #DallasJenkins #Christian #BibleDrama #Faith #ErikaAndMalkia #ReactionVideo #YouTubeReactions
