Ep 352 - Slander and the Path of Purity | Shaykh Dr. Ahsan Hanif - Qur'an Tafseer Series

In this lesson of Sūrah An-Nūr, verses 19–26, Shaykh Dr. Aḥsan Ḥanīf explains the commands and guidance revealed by Allāh عَزَّوَجَلَّ concerning the spread of immorality, the dangers of following the footsteps of Shayṭān and the importance of safeguarding the honour of believers. These verses warn against spreading indecency and making false accusations, particularly against chaste and believing women, reminding us that every word and action will be accounted for on the Day of Judgement. They also highlight the virtue of forgiveness and overlooking the faults of others, encouraging believers to show mercy in the hope of receiving Allāh’s forgiveness. Through these verses, Allāh عَزَّوَجَلَّ teaches us to guard our speech, uphold truth, resist wrongdoing and recognise that He is the Manifest Truth, the Most Forgiving and the Most Merciful. ------------------------------------------------------- To share in the reward and support GLMCC, please donate here: https://www.greenlanemasjid.org/donate/ Another great way to help the Masjid is to set up a 67p a day (£20 a month) Direct Debit.
