4x4 snorkel fitting should i seal the box silicone

Smother it all with half a tube of silicone or not? Its a car not a 12 ft tinny! You decide, but i suggest not going in water that deep for more than a quick few seconds or not at all. Remember it would have to fill to your air box to your filter element & that will take a while. Meanwhile your car is filling up & it a write off anyway. Your choice. Cheers.
