Final Fantasy VII EP 12 Cosmo Canyon

With our new Buggy, we finally head west to continue chasing Sephiroth. Our first stop is the Gongaga area, and honestly... I barely remembered this place from when I played Final Fantasy VII as a kid. Along the way we run into the Turks in the middle of a conversation. After a quick battle, we continue exploring the area around the ruined reactor and discover Shinra is investing even more into their mysterious Weapons Department. Thankfully, the trip isn't all bad, we walk away with the Titan Summon Materia! From there, our journey brings us to one of the most iconic locations in the game: Cosmo Canyon. Here we learn more about Nanaki (Red XIII), his past, the Planet, and the Lifestream. It's a slower, story-focused episode, but one packed with world-building and some of my favorite lore we've seen so far. The adventure continues as we prepare to leave Cosmo Canyon and continue our pursuit of Sephiroth.
