World O World | Thank You for 5 Years!

FIVE YEARS!! Five years ago, I posted my first weekly TimTag, with the goal of doing it for 5 years. Through illness, laryngitis, vocal fold paresis, personal challenges, and occasional burnout, I didn’t miss a single Tuesday! Clear proof that I am very stubborn. I started posting during one of the most challenging, divided times in the barbershop world, when nobody was singing together. My goals were simple: 1. Make people happy 2. Share my music and barbershop with the world 3. Inspire people to sing barbershop It’s so cool that these videos have been viewed more than 50,000,000 times. But what means way more is when a kid tells me he found barbershop through my videos, when people say my music helped them through a hard time, when teachers tell me they play my videos for their students every week, or when kids in my neighborhood yell “Cornbread” at me. Lol. To be honest, I’ve seriously thought about taking a break or stopping. But I still want to be a positive force in this divided world. And I’m stubborn. ;) So for now, I’m going to keep going!! I also want to be more of a resource, so I’m planning some tutorials, maybe some interviews, and more full songs. What would you like to hear from me? Let me know in the comments! To those of you who watch and comment every single week, I am so thankful for your support. And to my Patreon supporters, I appreciate you so much. The fact that you believe in what I do means more than you know. So in honor of 5 years, I decided to try something crazy: Jacob Collier’s incredible “World O World!” It’s an insane range-stretching, lung-stretching, mind-stretching tag, and I love it! I also wanted to return to some of my favorite filming locations - at home and in Hawaii!! I hope you enjoy it.
