Any of y'all out there who have compared any of my lyric adaptations to the direct translation from Japanese, you know I like to take liberties to make themes more consistent or just make the expressions more digestible and less out of place in English. But for this, I ended up sticking pretty close to a lot of the direct translations, because I had absolutely no clue what to do. This song is already pretty musically eccentric, and the lyrics just double down on that. I'm sure no one would even have noticed if I didn't point this out. But it was a pretty big struggle to get the lyrics even to this point.
