Part 4: Dual water features & hidden bonsai collection!

We are diving deeper into the side yard for Part 4 of our 5-part walkthrough on the Santa Barbara Riviera! This section is all about sound design, clearing space, and showcasing our client's incredible hobby: THE HIGHLIGHTS: 🔹 Dual Fountain Soundscapes: We moved the original entry fountain into a narrow side yard and added a new power line. While the new back-patio fountain creates big, rich sound that bounces off the windows, this smaller fountain produces a quiet, soothing trickle—perfect for a tight side walkway. 🔹 Unlocking the Garden's Potential: We relocated a valve box that was blocking the middle of the path and trimmed back a massive hedge that was hanging over like a wave. This opened up crucial sunlight for the client's potted citrus, pomegranate, and plumeria trees. 🔹 Woodworking Craftsmanship: Comparing the raw timber to our torch-burnished wood wall highlights the dramatic difference! Our crew even countersunk the brass screws so the hardware virtually disappears into the textured grain. 🔹 The Master Bonsai Sanctuary: Under the remaining shady canopy, the client keeps a world-class collection of hand-sculpted bonsai trees—each meticulously tagged and numbered in ancient ceramic pots. Stay tuned for Part 5 as we wrap up this ultimate Riviera transformation! . . . #japanesegardendesign #bonsaicollection #waterfeature #customwoodwork #hardscapedesign #santabarbara #rivierahomes #landscapingtips #clearviewlandscaping
