David Briggs's Final Solo December 29th, 1976

R.I.P David Briggs When Elvis and company came back to touring in February of 1977, everyone in the band had their moment to shine during the solos. That is except for David Briggs, who was rumored to have a dalliance with Linda Thompson, Elvis's former girlfriend. So this resulted in Elvis only singing Love Letters without giving David the floor. However this trend started back in the December tour the previous year, for in the last two shows, Elvis skipped straight to Love Letters, so David's last true solo was on December 29th, 1976 in Birmingham, Alabama.
