Phuket's North / Planespotting Near Phuket Airport

Are you wondering where to stay in Phuket? Have you considered Nai Yang or Mai Khao close to Phuket Airport? A fun thing to do in Phuket when you are in the north is planespotting. This is definitely an activity activity worth considering if you are planning on staying in the north of Phuket. The two areas close to the airport are called Mai Khao and Nai Yang. Nai Yang Nai Yang Beach - Off the beaten track hidden gem. Not very well known with first time travellers but popular with return visitors. Many fun bars and restaurants. This part of Phuket is a lot quieter and much more peaceful. Not yet overly developed. This is what Phuket was probably like many years ago. Mai Khao Unspoiled beach. You can walk between Nai Yang Beach and Mai Khao beach within 30 minutes. It’s the longest beach in Phuket. No beach chairs, no umbrellas and no food vendors.
