What does it really mean to be free in Christ? In this message, Vitaly continues his series on the rights believers have in the Kingdom of God. After previously looking at our citizenship in heaven, this message focuses on the freedom Christ has given to those who belong to Him. Jesus did not simply free us from the penalty and power of sin. He calls us to live as people who are truly free—free from guilt, shame, fear of people, unforgiveness, bitterness, and the old mentality of bondage. Just as Israel was delivered from Egypt yet sometimes continued thinking like slaves, believers can be forgiven and redeemed while still allowing their past, failures, fears, or wounds to control the way they live. Freedom in Christ means learning to walk in the identity, purpose, holiness, forgiveness, and obedience God has given us.
