Star Wars: The Pursuit Trailer #1 (really a Prequel)

About this trailer: “Right now in this galaxy close, close by…” a Youtuber with a passion for Star Wars and Star Wars toys finds himself lured by a mysterious magic door which opens to an unexplored universe. In 1977, he was but a boy. He is now an old man collecting toys. Has he lost his mind? He is about to cross over into a world of toys. Background: This is a “Trailer” or more fittingly, a “prequel” for my project that I am working on “Star Wars: The Pursuit.” As a collector of action figures, this project has slowly evolved. Initially, I was just having some green screen fun while I was working on a diorama. I was experimenting with green screen in order to immerse myself “inside” of the diorama I had created in the course of presenting the diorama project on a YouTube video (see my Spider-man Sinister Six diorama video). Next, I launched a “test” video for “The Pursuit” which I released on May the Forth. However, the video program I was using had reached its limits and kept crashing on me. I have since learned to use DaVinci Resolve and after many experiments, the current project has evolved into what I hope will be a stand-alone mini movie. I hope to release “Star Wars: The Pursuit” in 2027, as a way for me to pay homage to the 50th Anniversary of Star Wars. The upcoming release in 2027: “Star Wars: The Pursuit” is a story set between Star Wars: A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back. Using almost entirely Hasbro Star Wars 6 inch and 3.75-inch figures, ships, and sets, there are no main character figures involved. No Luke, Leia, Han, Rey, Kylo, or Mando. The story centers around Crick and Dash. Crick (played by me) is a rebel pilot formerly from the destroyed world Alderaan, and Dash is his trusted droid (full droid name is R2-DSH). Their adventure finds them in a remote part of the galaxy, helping a band of rebels in their search for the next secret rebel base. With the Empire closing in, and one of the ship’s hyperdrive systems down, will they escape the pursuit of the Empire?! Will Crik remain sane is this crazy galaxy (of toys), as he is tempted toward the Dark Side of the Force by “the Voice” in his head.
