Meet Lara - The Women Moving Metro Tasmania

Meet Lara Every day on the road can bring something a little different — sometimes even ducks. Lara’s story captures some of the variety, independence and unexpected moments that come with being a Metro Bus Driver. It’s a practical, people-focused career where good judgement, patience and the ability to adapt matter just as much as driving experience. If you’re considering a change, you don’t need to have driven a bus before. Metro provides paid training and support to help you learn the role step by step.
