Day 17 Riding | Triumph Speed Twin 900, Exploring Oʻahu's West Coast

Day 17 riding, and another day exploring Oʻahu, Hawaii on my rented Triumph Speed Twin 900! This time, I headed out to explore the island's western coastline, riding through coastal communities and following the road northwest toward Kaʻena Point. I'd heard a few warnings about visiting this side of the island, but my experience was completely uneventful. I just enjoyed the ride, the scenery, and the opportunity to explore somewhere new on two wheels. The weather was classic Hawaii: sunshine one moment, rain the next, and sometimes a little bit of everything in between. Despite getting caught in some rain, the ocean views, mountains, and winding coastal roads made this an absolutely beautiful ride. I followed the road as far northwest as I could toward Kaʻena Point before turning around due to dead-end. The farther I went, the more remote and scenic the coastline became. Coming from my Kawasaki Ninja 400 back home, riding the Triumph Speed Twin 900 has been a great experience. I'm still learning and getting more comfortable on different motorcycles, and exploring Oʻahu has been an incredible way to build that experience.
