Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park | Disney Vlog | April 2026

In April 2026, I celebrated my birthday in Disneyland and Disney California Adventure park! Before this trip, I had not been to Disneyland in 9 years, so I was super excited to go back. We utilized Lightning Lane both days, which was completely worth it to get on as many rides as we could! We started by rope dropping Disney California Adventure park. We rope dropped Radiator Springs Racers, but in hindsight I would have rope dropped Guardians of the Galaxy Mission Breakout as that ride is on the multi-pass Lighting Lane, and sold out quickly, where as we could have done single rider or single-pass Lighting Lane for Radiator Springs later in the day. But you live and learn! In DCA we got on: Radiator Springs Racers (twice through stand by and then at the end of the day in single rider), Mike and Sulley to the Rescue, the ferris wheel, Web Slingers, Little Mermaid, Incredicoaster, Silly Symphony Swings, Toy Story Mania, and the Carousel. We had lunch in the San Fransokyo square, and I had Tacos Dorados de Papa from Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill. For dinner we went to Wine Country Trattoria, and I had the Spaghetti Aglio Olio. I also had some snacks throughout the day like a churro and a rice krispie treat. We stayed to watch World of Color as well, though I missed the virtual queue for the earlier showing, so we just found random spots to stand and watch. The next day was my actual birthday! We celebrated in Disneyland itself. We rope dropped the Matterhorn, which I do think is a good rope drop ride as its entrance is pretty close to the front of the park, and it had a long line all day. Though we were able to get a multi-pass Lightning Lane later in the day for it. Other rides we went on were: Buzz Lightyear, Space Mountain, Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, Winnie the Pooh, It's a Small World, Autopia, Indiana Jones, Big Thunder, Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway, the Matterhorn again, Storybook Land, Mr. Toad's Wild Adventure, Snow White, and Pinocchio. For lunch we ate at Refreshment Corner and I had the mac n cheese in a bread bowl. And for dinner we got reservations as the Blue Bayou! I was SO thrilled to eat at this restaurants. I had the Magnolia Park Pasta. We also had the creme brulee tart for dessert there. Other snacks throughout the day was another rice krispie treat and popcorn. We didn't actually plan to watch Fantasmic, but we watched Fantasmic as well! An amazing way to end my birthday!
