Many independent creators went viral on social media with their own brands making for a huge change in where we got our entertainment. Suddenly the large industrial conglomerates were no longer leading sales of albums but bowing down to the individual who made their own way without them. It would change everything for the future of the music industry. A new technology has arisen in the ashes of the old regime "AI". AI allowed even more artists to be able to create music and in 2026 the first AI produced song hit the top of the charts. The use of AI is still well debated as to whether it should be considered a viable source for music creation but with the chart topping single it is even more proof that people really don't care where the music comes from if they like it.
