A soldier falls in love with a woman, she helps him to desert so that she can have him to herself and disguises him as her sister to hide him. In this clip I combined elements of the trailer with another clip. The stars Brian Deacon as Barton/Cathy, Glenda Jackson as the woman he falls in love with, and Oliver Reed as the Sergeant who becomes attracted to "Cathy" (Barton).
