Mozambique Madness... Chasing Silver Slabs on a Kayak

Back in Mozambique – kayak fishing heaven! After a pretty lean spell on the kayak, I was chasing silver slabs: big king mackerel and wahoo. Conditions were unreal – not a breath of wind, deep blue water, a proper glass-out. The plan was simple: put out some baits, do a few loops around the reef, and hope the fish obliged. Naturally, it didn’t all go according to script. A few blunders, some lessons learnt, but persistence paid off, and the day turned into something special. Enjoy!
