Transfer case service 2017 Lexus LX 570 and Toyota Landcruiser

Howdy folks, this video covers transfer case drain and refill for 200 series Lexus LX570’s and corresponding same generation Toyota LandCruisers. I checked the national lexus owners database and did not see a previous owners service so at 86,700 miles this may be first time. You are watching a first time service for both the vehicle and DIY’er doing the the job! Video covers all the supplies and steps I used to compete this important maintenance interval. I find on the internet service interval looks to be 60K. Public service announcement, please be responsible about disposing of your waste oil, in my case I take it to my local Walmart where they dump into their recycle tanks. Torque specs that I used: bottom drain port 27 ft lb, heater Insulator 12 ft lb, lower transfer case protector 10 ft lb and dynamic damper 9 ft lb.
