Kaydee Bumped into Shadow… Then the “Stick Debate” - But What Happened Next? | Big Bear Eagles

Shadow and Kaydee began the day together at the Lookout, sharing repeated calls and a beautiful Big Bear sunrise. After a quiet afternoon, they reunited at the Cactus Snag — then flew straight to the Nest, where Kaydee’s close landing created a funny little “traffic accident” with Shadow. But that was only the beginning of their evening. During nest work, the two had very different ideas about where one particular stick belonged — leading to a little “stick debate” before another close moment took an unexpected turn. So how did it all end? A familiar sound from the Roost provided the answer: Shadow and Kaydee’s duet chortles, together again at the end of the day. This ongoing Big Bear bald eagle reality story is created for longtime followers of Jackie, Shadow, Kaydee and the Big Bear eagle nest, as well as viewers who enjoy bald eagle stories of behavior, relationships, territorial dynamics, and the subtle changes that can only be discovered by following these remarkable birds day after day.
