Depois de acompanharmos a preparação do nosso impeller, chegamos finalmente à fusão e ao vazamento. Neste terceiro vídeo mostramos também algo fundamental numa fundição: a importância das pessoas e da coordenação entre elas. O forneiro conduz a fusão, o laboratório acompanha e valida a composição química e, no momento do vazamento, a experiência do vazador e a perfeita sintonia com o Chefe de Equipa são essenciais para manter um fluxo de metal contínuo e controlado. Terminado o vazamento, resta esperar pelo arrefecimento. Na Parte 4 vamos finalmente ver o impeller que temos acompanhado desde o início. ----------------------------------- After following the preparation of our impeller, we finally reach melting and pouring. In this third video, we also highlight something fundamental in a foundry: the importance of people and coordination. The furnace operator manages the melting process, the laboratory monitors and validates the chemical composition and, during pouring, the experience of the pourer and perfect coordination with the Team Leader are essential to maintain a continuous and controlled flow of metal. Once pouring is complete, we simply have to wait for the casting to cool. In Part 4, we will finally see the impeller we have been following from the beginning.
