The Thing's TRUE Form Explained - The Dark Mystery Behind Its Ever-Changing Body

The Thing and Halloween are my favorite movies by John Carpenter. I got introduced to an extremely different world of cinema when I watched Halloween for the first time. But after watching ‘The Thing’, I started to admire John Carpenter even more, and he immediately became one of my favorite directors at that time. When ‘The Thing’ was released for the first time in 1982, it got negative reviews. To its detriment at the box office, it faced intense competition from Steven Spielberg’s E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, as people flocked to theaters to watch that movie in huge numbers. Both are great movies, but many people did not think that way about ‘The Thing’ back then. However, people’s perception of John Carpenter’s masterpiece from 1982 has only got better with the passage of time. Rightfully so, it’s now considered one of the greatest science fiction and horror movies of all time. #TheThing #JohnCarpenter #HorrorMovie #bodyhorror
